UNTIL THINKLINK 2008!
Sparky says if you are looking for ways to reward a team member for a job well done, send them to the ThinkLink Brainstorming Conference on November 18. “Registering your employees for ThinkLink sends a clear message that you support them in their endeavors to be the very best in the industry,” Sparky says. He also added, “The conference can be a great reward for an employee that has gone above and beyond this year.”
Although it has been a relief to watch the price of gas fall slowly the past few weeks, it can still be painful to fill up your tank. What two things do your residents want to save the most? Time and money!! Since many of your residents either work at the same places or go to the same schools, why not help them get a car pool started. By doing this you have helped them save money on gas, time of driving each morning and they have met a new neighbor. I bet those residents aren’t moving away anytime soon!
Stop selling and start listening! When you meet someone for the first time, use it as an opportunity to get to know them. Don’t try to sell them anything. Rather, begin to establish a relationship.
After you meet someone for the first time, use the back of their business card to jot a note about something you learned from the conversation and the date and place you met them. What a great information to know when following up or talking to them the next time you see them.
Initiate conversation with someone who is standing by themselves. They’ll be happy to have someone to talk to them and, as a result, will many times open up with valuable information. This is a great way to get people to return to events and they will never forget you!
